Independence Day: If you hate Nigeria, you may not progress – APC chieftain, Joe Igbokwe

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe has declared that Nigerians who hate the country find it difficult to make progress in their endeavours.Igbokwe made the remark in a post on his official Facebook page while commemorating the nation’s 64th Independence Day anniversary.He wrote, “believe that you have a beautiful country in your hands. Nigeria and Nigeria will love you . Celebrate Nigeria and Nigeria will celebrate you.“Honour Nigeria so that Nigeria will honour you. If you hate your country you may not progress here. Nigeria will favour you the way it favoured me”.Igbokwe further described Nigeria as the most endowed nation in the continent.According to him, Nigeria remains the “most populated, most educated, most talented, most blessed with good weather, fertile land full of beautiful landscape”.
