Charly Boy blasts government over the seizure of Nigerian jets in France

Charly Boy, a Nigerian artist and activist, has strongly criticized the Nigerian government in response to the recent seizure of three presidential jets in France.

On August 16, , the artist commented on the new headlines via Instagram, stating that the seizure of the jets was embarrassing. Charly Boy questioned the legitimacy and transparency of the Nigerian government, claiming that the jets’ presence in France raises serious concerns about the administration’s honesty.

He wrote, “The seizure of three Nigerian presidential jets in France has led to significant confusion and embarrassment due to a legal dispute involving the Ogun State government and the company Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Ltd.”

“Abegi una, weytin 3 Nigeria government Jets doing in France? Is that Tinubu’s second home? Can an illegitimate and illegal government ever come clean? so many Nigerian criminals deported from the US full inside APC?” Charly Boy slammed.

The musician also expressed concern about the influence of corruption on the Nigerian government, accusing officials of putting personal gain ahead of public duty.

He continued, “Omo, Shey una dey see how much corruption dey destroy our government. Instead of serving the people, they’re serving themselves. We need leaders who will put Nigeria first, not their own greed. When the Youths and most Nigerians say #TinubuMustGo this is one of the reasons! The stealing, corruption, rascality and lack of frugality is terrifying. Nonsense. Dia fathers.”

Charly Boy’s post comes after a Chinese corporation (Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Limited) won a favorable judgment against the Ogun State government in a Paris court. This provided it the right to seize three jets belonging to Nigeria; however, the Federal Government has branded the effort by the Chinese business to take custody of three presidential jets belonging to the Nigerian government as ‘fraudulent’
