Nigerian lady celebrates her achievement as she bags a nursing degree from a UK university, four years after she lost her admission to study the same course at UNN.
The latest graduate known as Obot Ifiokobong Patrick took to TikTok to celebrate her milestone while sharing a story of her perseverance.
She revealed that she had lost her admission to study nursing at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) and had thought that was the end of the her nursing dream.
Ifiokobong secured a direct entry admission to study nursing at UNN in November 2019 and began her program in 2020.
However, her department was later changed due to overadmission by the university, which couldn’t be resolved.
Undeterred, she applied to the University of Derby, passed the required exams, and gained admission.
She successfully completed her studies in May 2024, earning her degree from the UK university.
