Kun Khalifat head coach, Obinna Uzor, says conceding an early goal was responsible for his team’s loss to Warri Wolves.
Kun Khalifat FC suffered a 3-0 defeat to Warri Wolves in their second match of the Nigeria National League, NNL, Super 8 playoffs in Asaba.
Uzor admitted that after conceding the first goal, it was difficult for his team to recover.
“That early goal completely demoralised us,” Uzor stated in a post-match interview.
“It disrupted our rhythm and gave them confidence. From that point, it was tough to bounce back.”
Kun Khalifat FC must win their next game against Osun United to guarantee qualification for the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
