Slavia Prague defender Igoh Ogbu has debunked reports linking him with a move away from the club.
The centre-back played a pivotal role in Slavia Prague’s Czech Super League title win last season.
Ogbu also earned recognition on the international scene, earning his maiden invitation for the Super Eagles’ 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe in March.
The 25-year-old made his debut for Nigeria against Ghana’s Black Stars in May.
He signed a contract extension with Slavia Prague last December.
Despite having two years left on his contract with the Red and Whites, the player has been consistently linked with a move elsewhere.
Ogbu declared he is focused on playing for the club next season.
“I recently signed a new contract with Slavia Prague, which runs until 2027,” Ogbu told Flashscore.
“For me, the future is now and it has already begun. My focus is fully on performing in the league and the Champions League. After that, we’ll see what the future holds.”
Ogbu joined Slavia Prague from Norwegian outfit Lillestrøm in 2023.
