Arsenal are reportedly set to complete the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga this week.
The 30-year-old Spain international is expected to arrive at London Colney to finalise a £5 million transfer that will end prolonged speculation over his future.
Kepa spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Bournemouth and is no longer in Chelsea’s plans, with the Blues boasting several goalkeeping options including Robert Sanchez, Djordje Petrovic, Filip Jorgensen, and recent teenage signing Mike Penders from Genk.
At Arsenal, Kepa will provide depth and experience behind current first-choice David Raya.
His arrival could also pave the way for 22-year-old Karl Hein to exit the Emirates, with the Estonian drawing interest from La Liga clubs following his loan spell at Real Valladolid.
Kepa, once the world’s most expensive goalkeeper, made 35 appearances in all competitions last season and recorded nine clean sheets.
