President Bola Tinubu has vowed to execute infrastructural developments in all zones of Nigeria.
Tinubu said he would continue to execute projects that would make Nigerians feel the touch of good governance under his administration.
He spoke at the inauguration of the newly constructed rural road, from A2 Junction (Abuja–Lokoja Expressway) to Pai community in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), to mark his second year in office.
The president vowed to continue embarking on projects like that of the A2 to Pai road across Nigeria because it is symbolic.
Noting that “we will not stop,” Tinubu assured that such projects would uplift Nigerians.
“We will continue until every Nigerian can feel the touch of meaningful governance.
“Indeed, this project will continue to elevate our lives if this administration continues to prioritize infrastructure development in all zones.
“It is strategic because it opens a new corridor for agriculture, commerce, education, mobility, and other areas, strengthening our national economy from the grassroots up,” he said.
He stressed that communities like Pai were important to the country’s social and economic fabric, especially in food production and local enterprises.
The president lamented that the poor road network had hindered the community’s potential.
“Today, that narrative is changing.”
The president charged residents of the community to take ownership of the road to the fullest.
