Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, is full of praise for captain, Kevin De Bruyne, after his virtuoso display in their 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.
The victory ended City’s six-game winless run in all competitions.
De Bruyne’s header was tapped in by Bernardo Silva, before the Belgian drilled in the second.
Jeremy Doku then added a third as the champions ran riot at the Etihad.
Speaking about De Bruyne after the game, Guardiola said: “He was excellent, especially in the first half, even in the second half.
“Really good, the presence and when he’s fit, he’s a player that is so important for us.
“For many years since he arrived from Germany, he has been an incredible influence on our game.”
