An alleged kidnapper posing as a commercial motorcycle rider has been apprehended in Ogun State while attempting to abduct a primary school student.
The incident was captured in a video shared on TikTok, where residents of the community gathered in large numbers to witness the arrest.
In the footage, a group of people is seen restraining the suspect from fleeing.
The man, who had a motorcycle with him, was identified as the person who allegedly planned to use the bike to kidnap the young boy.
As the crowd surrounded him, some voices in the background could be heard pleading with others not to beat the suspect.
The video also showed the young boy, visibly shaken, recounting what happened. According to him, the suspect tried to cover his nose with a substance. “He used something to cover my nose,” the boy said.
The video has since gone viral, drawing a wave of reactions from social media users who flooded the comment section with their concerns and opinions.
