A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to express her frustration after a man asked her to spend the night at his house before he could offer her food, following her online plea for assistance.
The incident, shared via the X platform (formerly Twitter), sparked widespread reactions after the woman posted screenshots of their conversation.
According to her, the man reached out after reading a post where she mentioned she was struggling and in need of food.
Initially, he asked for her location and appeared willing to help. However, the conversation took an unexpected turn when he discovered she is a single mother.
He then made an inappropriate request, saying: “Do you mind paying me a visit? I am off work today and tomorrow. Don’t worry, I will give you lots of foodstuffs and also money. The weather is cold, and I need someone to keep me company.”
Shocked and angered by the message, the woman immediately called him out and warned him to stop the conversation or risk being blocked.
Sharing her experience online, she wrote: “I don’t even know how to react. This person just spoiled my whole mood this morning.”
The screenshots attached to her post revealed more of the conversation, which has since gone viral, drawing reactions from concerned Nigerians who flooded the comment section to condemn the man’s behavior and express support for the woman.
