A Nigerian hair vendor has taken to social media in tears after an unknown customer made away with a wig worth ₦2 million, which was rented out for just ₦50,000 by her newly employed sales representative.
This was shared via a post on the popular social media platform, TikTok.
In the video, the distraught vendor narrated how she recently hired a new staff member who, not long after being employed, rented out two wigs to a customer.
The vendor revealed that the customer provided fake personal details and has since refused to return the wigs. One of the wigs is reportedly valued at ₦2 million.
The caption on her video read: “My wig rental business was going well until I employed a new staff.”
“Now two wigs worth ₦2 million are gone because someone chose to be wicked by dropping fake details to my new girl, and my phone was off to confirm her authenticity. I’ve lost ₦2 million for a ₦50k rental fee. Please, if you’re the one, return it.”
