A Nigerian businesswoman has shared her frustration after allegedly being scammed by a customer who visited her shop for a lash extension and left after making a fake transfer.
In a post shared on her TikTok page, the businesswoman narrated how the lady came to her store, got the service done, and then claimed to have transferred the payment.
She said the customer showed her a fake transaction alert as proof and quickly left the shop.
She lamented: “Someone just scammed me. She did a fake transfer for me and left in a hurry. I went outside to look for her but couldn’t find her. She showed me the fake transfer and rushed off.”
According to her, the customer was allegedly referred by someone, making the scam even more unexpected.
