A Nigerian mother has gone viral after sharing her disappointment over a tailor’s failed attempt to replicate a stylish outfit for her daughter.
In a video posted to social media, the mother, known online as @keyu.mamie on TikTok, showcased the original sample she had provided to the tailor alongside the final result.
The frustrated mom explained that she had entrusted the job to a tailor on her street, hoping for a close replica of the chosen design. Instead, the outcome, according to her, resembled a cartoon character’s costume rather than the sleek ensemble she had envisioned.
The video has drawn widespread attention, triggering a flood of comments. While some sympathised with the mother’s disappointment, others believed the backlash against the tailor was exaggerated.
