In solidarity with workers worldwide, Nigerian workers gathered on Thursday at Eagle Square, Abuja, to commemorate May Day.
The rally, organized by the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress, brought together employees from various sectors, clad in vibrant uniforms that reflected their professions.
As the celebration unfolded, both Labour unions were expected to address pressing national and workers’ issues, from the implementation of the new minimum wage to broader concerns about employee welfare and economic justice.
