Nollywood actress Omobolarinde Akinyanju, popularly known as Ashabi, has shared a thought-provoking message with the public.
Posting on her Instagram page, Ashabi reflected on the challenges that often accompany success. She stated that achieving progress naturally invites jealousy, while success tends to attract enemies. According to her, if a person isn’t facing any form of hate, it likely means they aren’t truly making strides in life.
She wrote:
“Success attracts enemies.
Progress invites jealousy.
If nobody hates you, you are not making it in life.”
Ashabi, who is also a proud mother of two, made the post while announcing that she is currently filming a new project titled Dark Room, produced by Mariam Oguntona. She also gave a shoutout to her skincare brand partner, 1st Lady Skincare.
