Following the tragic passing of young Nigerian content creator Disturbing, popularly known as Buckle, during a live stream, an old video of him passionately speaking about the late singer Mohbad has resurfaced.
Just hours after a disturbing video showing Buckle’s final moments circulated on social media, where he appeared to suffer a seizure mid-stream before collapsing, fans have dug past clips of the creator discussing Mohbad’s controversial case.
In one of the resurfaced videos, Buckle criticised the decision to bury Mohbad in Ikorodu, suggesting that fans should contribute to give the late singer a befitting resting place in Lekki.
“Why Ikorodu? A legend like Mohbad should be resting in Lekki,” he said, expressing frustration over what he felt was a lack of honour for the artist.
In another, which was his last post on TikTok before his death, Buckle lamented the delay in Mohbad’s burial. He expressed his dismay after seeing a video of Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, and her mother-in-law seemingly going about their lives while the singer’s body still lay in the morgue.
“I saw them eating and moving on like Mohbad’s body is not lying cold in the morgue. It’s not fair,” he said.
The resurfaced clips have now taken on a haunting tone for many fans, who are grappling with the mysterious timing of Buckle’s death.
