Afro-pop singer, Paul Okoye, widely known as Rudeboy, has reacted to the release of his elder brother, Jude Okoye, from police custody after 2 months of detention.
Recall that Jude Okoye was picked up and arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged money laundering of ₦1.38 billion.
Jude Okoye was arraigned in court and ordered to be remanded in the Ikoyi Correctional Facility until his bail hearing on March 3, 2025, with his trial set to commence on April 14, 2025.
A Lagos court presided over by Justice Alexander Owoeye later granted Jude Okoye bail while demanding two sureties, each valued at ₦100 million, and prohibited him from traveling outside the country.
He was however arrested a few hours after his bail.
In the late hours of yesterday, Gistreel reported that Jude Okoye was finally granted bail and had returned home to his family. A video of the ex-manager of P-Square alighting from a car ad hugging his wife was shared online.
Reacting to the new development, Rudeboy took to his Instaram story to throw shades at whom it may concern.
According to Paul Okoye, all the efforts that was put in to frustrate the bail of his brother, Jude has failed hence his release.
He further welcomed his brother back home while wishing him a happy birthday.
