Victor Osimhen has reportedly agreed personal terms with Manchester United ahead of a potential summer transfer.
This is according to Turkish journalist Serdar Çelikler, who stated that the Nigeria international, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, is set for a move to Old Trafford as United look to revamp their attack under Ruben Amorim.
“Victor Osimhen has reached an agreement with Manchester United. But there is also the club side of the matter,” Çelikler stated on a podcast.
United’s pursuit of a proven forward comes amid growing frustration with Rasmus Hojlund’s inconsistent form.
Amorim, who is expected to lead a summer overhaul, is reportedly eager to part ways with the Danish striker and make room for a marquee name up front.
Osimhen has been in outstanding form for Galatasaray, netting 29 goals and delivering six assists in 34 appearances across all competitions.
His output has reignited interest from Europe’s top clubs, but United appear to be leading the race.
While personal terms are said to be in place, a deal with Napoli is still required.
The striker’s release clause stands at €75 million (£63m), though reports indicate Napoli may be open to negotiating a lower fee to facilitate the transfer.
If completed, the move would mark a significant statement from United and a potential turning point in Osimhen’s career, elevating him to the Premier League spotlight after a standout spell in Turkey.
