Blaqbonez reminisced about his time at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ife, Osun State, where he developed strong bonds with his colleagues, including Fireboy, Asake, Superboi Cheque, Yhemolee, and Zamorra. These talented artists had a close-knit connection during their university years.

“I have known Fireboy, Asake, Superboi Cheque, Yhemolee, and Zamorra since our time at OAU. Zamorra and Asake were exceptional at providing backup vocals. Asake’s extraordinary vocal skills that you witness today were already evident back then. I used to seek his assistance in refining those aspects.
