Senate President Godswill Akpabio has denied all sexual harassment allegations leveled against him by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
Recall that Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (Kogi Central) accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of making persistent sexual advances toward her.
Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan alleged that Akpabio’s antagonism toward her stemmed from her refusal to yield to his advances, both within and outside the country.
Speaking during the Senate Plenary session this morning March 5, Akpabio dismissed the allegation.
In his words;
“At no time did I ever harass any woman. I was raised very well by my late single mother, and I have always upheld respect for women. I was even awarded the most gender-friendly governor in Nigeria.”
According to Senator Akpabio, after the allegations, his phone has been bombarded with calls from people. He also urged the media to refrain from making assumptions and wait for the court decision.
