He is the father of a retired Lagos State Head of Service, Prince Adesegun Ogunlewe, among other great children.

Similarly, the late Prince Amos Olugbusi was the first educated indigene of Igbogbo. He is the father of a former Minister for Works and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe.

The family disclosed that to commemorate the remembrance anniversary, representatives of the family paid a royal courtesy visit to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and the Adegboruwa-in-Council on Saturday, June 15, to formally notify the monarch about the commemorative event.

In continuation of this historic commemoration and to further immortalise the two great Igbogbo icons, the entire family will formally lay the foundation for the construction of a twin hostel facility at the Lagos State Civil Service Model College, Igbogbo, on Friday, June 28th.

Head of the Fadugba-Ogunlewe Royal Family of Igbogbo, Dr Akinola Ogunlewe, would be leading other prominent members of the family to conduct the foundation laying ceremony of the 100-Bed Prince Amos Olugbosi and the 100-Bed Oba Festus Molaja Ogunlewe Dormitories.

Afterwards, members of the family would also be observing a special commemorative service at the Igbogbo Central Mosque, under the spiritual leadership of Chief Imam Dhikrullah Andu.

Some of the prominent family members expected to grace the commemorative event are Dr. Akinola Ogunlewe, Prince Gbadebo Ogunlewe, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Prince Adesegun Ogunlewe and Dr. Jaiyeola Ogunlewe, among many other Fadugba-Ogunlewe sons and daughters.
